5 Year Anniversary

May 9, 2009 was the day that I got to marry my very best friend, and this weekend we got to celebrate 5 years together as husband and wife! It's pretty difficult to even attempt to write this because my words will never adequately describe the way I feel about Cory Lee Chandler. Being married to him has and will forever make an impact on my life. The Lord has used him to continually sanctify me, and for that I am thankful! I can think of nothing more sweet than marriage to strengthen our walk with the Lord and to display the Gospel. Jesus pursues us and makes a covenant with us that will never be broken, and we get to display that process on Earth through our marriage. Thank you Lord for this gift!

So here is what we did- Mom and Dad were awesome by offering to take the kids for a weekend(this is no easy feat). :) Being kidless is a great thing, but only temporarily because I miss those little boogers so much when they are away! We decided to use a gift certificate from Red River Grill in Marksville, LA that was given to us at Christmas. Oh man, was it good!!! Cory got the Mahi Mahi with all sorts of things with it, and I got the Crawfish fettuchini. We shared crawfish rolls for an Appetizer. It was some of the BEST food we had ever eaten. I would highly recommend it! The atmosphere is perfect for a night out with the one you adore!

After we ate, we hung out downtown at the Alexandria River Feat. This was a festival that went on all weekend with vendors, concerts, and dragon boat races. It was a nice night to walk around. We then finished it off with some coffee and called it a night!

On Saturday, we played a little golf, did some shopping, and then ate sushi! It was a great day! My parents got home around 7 and resembled that of a "whipped dog". HAHA! They did a great act of service for us and the boys loved spending time with their Me-Maw and Paw-paw! We were ready to get our hands on those boys. I had such a full and thankful heart when I went to bed Saturday, and I know that is from the Lord. So thankful for times like that!

This was from our 1 year anniversary! Ha- Noah Lee Chandler was a big one!

This is at Red River Grill celebrating our 5 year!! Love him so much!!!

I'm Back!

Well hello blogger world! It has once again been a while since I have sat down to write. Let me just update you on the recent happenings in the life of the Chandlers.

We now have a 1 year old and a 2 year old in the household! On November 22, 2012, Brayden Samuel Chandler turned 1!! That year absolutely flew by, and the months following have already gone by soooo fast! He turned 14 months just this week! It really is true that time does fly by, but I am so thankful that I am home cherishing every little moment with both of my boys!

We celebrated his birthday the weekend before Thanksgiving since his big day was actually on Thanksgiving. We had such a good time with friends and family, and I was pleased with the turnout since it was close to the Holidays. My sweet sister-in-law agreed to use her picture taking talents to capture some sweet moments for me! Here are a few pics-

Here is the sweet birthday boy with his birthday shirt made by one of my close friends.

Instead of regular cake and ice cream, I decided to do a cupcake bar. It was a huge hit, and very yummy (if I do say so myself :).

This was something salty to add to the cupcakes! Sooo good and easy! Thanks Pinterest!

Brayden enjoyed his smash cake!

My cute niece enjoying her cupcake!
The kids enjoyed playing in the back yard the whole time! I was so happy that the weather was nice!

The big kids enjoyed playing too!

Mommy and Brayden had fun opening presents!

It was such a great day that was spent celebrating my sweet baby's first year! The Lord is so good!

I will continue my update in the next blog! I think that is enough for now!

Amazed

Often times, I sit back and just think of the Lord's goodness and grace upon my life, and I am simply "amazed". Truly, I am! His faithfulness sustains me through the good times and bad times. And this is what spurred that though on. This morning I was reading about a mother who slipped into a coma after delivering her baby, who she had prayed for for seven years. Many thoughts ran through my mind as I was reading this. I was first so very thankful to look over at Noah playing in his playroom, and Brayden sitting in his high chair laughing at his brother. I then asked, "Why Lord?" And at that moment, I was reminded that the Lord IS faithful. ALL things will work together for good and most importantly, for His glory. That is so hard to fathom when you are in the valleys, but over the ages, that one truth has remained.

So let me share with you how the Lord has been faithful in my life.

* I was born into a home with parents who love the Lord and who have loved me unconditionally. They may not be perfect, but they have shown me and taught me that trusting in the Lord is the only sure thing in this world.

*I became a believer in Christ at an early age of 7, and at that moment, the Lord bestowed his grace upon a wicked sinful heart. I was then a daughter of the King, and the Holy Spirit began a work in me that is yet to be completed.

*Through the years, the Lord has placed believers in my path who have challenged me in my walk with the Lord.

*I was able to attend a college where I was taught to incorporate the truth of the Word within the world where I worked.

*I was privileged to teach at a school with hurting children surrounded by a faculty who loved them, prayed for them, and educated them.

* The Lord brought my Godly, caring, servant-hearted husband to me all the way from North Carolina, and he is so much more than I had ever dreamed for in a husband.

* Only 3 months after I married that man, the Lord began creating a little life inside of me. He is now a smart, funny, and energetic little two year old named Noah Lee Chandler.

* Only 18 months after that, our second little bundle of joy was born, who is currently pulling up and looking at me over my chair. He is a true picture of sweetness and contentment, and his name is Brayden Samuel Chandler.

* I chose to be a stay at home mommy, and this has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done. The Lord's faithfulness is written all over this with His ability to provide patience and financial stability.

* Our family is a part of a community of believers at Gospel Community Church who want to live in true community with one another, by practicing the "one anothers" of the Bible. This is incredible!

I could go on and on and on. Wow...

But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. Psalm 86:15

Doin' Work!

If you know me, you understand that if there were a time period I could live in, it would be the pioneer days. :) I could think of nothing more satisfying than living off of the land and being completely self-sufficient! That idea is becoming more and more appealing these days... Well, Cory and I decided that we needed to plant a garden. We decided this about a year ago, but just now got around to doing it! So, on Labor Day the first Chandler garden began! It is September, therefore we had to plant a fall garden. But seriously, are there really, technically seasons in Louisiana?? I think not, so we planted some fall veggies and threw in some other non-fall veggies as well. We are calling this our trial run garden. I am not afraid of failure, so if it fails, well I'll be sad, but I will hopefully learn how to do it better next time! Here is what we planted: mustard greens, turnip greens, spinach, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, corn, squash, and zucchini. I LOVE my garden. Noah and I walk out to check on it several times a day! It has been so fun to watch it grow! I am ready to hopefully put some yummy veggies in a pot, skillet, or on a grill soon!!! Here are a few pics of our labor. :)

Here is Cory tilling the area we had designated for our garden. Gotta love a hard workin man!

Good soil!

This was not the fun part...making the rows. Cory did most of them, I just had to get in there for picture purposes. :) I did get one done though! It was HOT that day!!
And two weeks later....WA-LA! We are beginning to see the fruits of our labor!

Here is a close-up of our squash! I am hoping to see some yellow soon!

Needless to say, planting a garden has been very gratifying so far. We plan to have a garden for every season! What a fun way to help provide for your family! Thank you Lord for the rain, sunshine, and nutrients you have given us!

Happy 130th Labor Day!

I am very thankful for Labor Day Weekend every year because I know that a few things will be involved- family, friends, games, and FOOD! So before I wrote this post, I got to thinking about the what, where, and when of Labor Day. So I did a little bit of research. The first Labor Day was on September 5, 1882. So this is our 130th labor day in this country. We celebrate this holiday to honor workers in this great country. "It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country." I found this quote from the United States Department of Labor website. I am so thankful for those who have come before us who made this great country what it is. I am pretty sure that those hard working men and women would be appalled to see what work ethic has become today for some (maybe most) people in our nation. I hope that as a parent, I will instill good work ethic in my children. I also hope that the majority of America can wake up and see that sitting and doing nothing all day long will get you nowhere quick! ( I think I have been watching a little too much of the RPN) :) Anywho...Happy Labor Day all you hard workers of America! I appreciate what you do, and how you contribute to taking care of my family's everyday needs.

On Chandler household notes... I hope the sickness has fled from our household from sheer terror of me! I am not a fan of being sick, but I am REALLY not a fan of my boys being sick. The only one who did not get sick was Cory. Thank goodness! So we are on the mend and business as usual can resume...whatever that is :)

Brayden still cannot grasp the concept of moving forward with his body. He IS a little crawfish. It is quite funny to watch him.

Noah is getting in the stage of doing and saying things that make me chuckle. He isn't meaning to be funny, but it is! I think that's the best kind of funny.

And I, mommy, am ready for a date night with my hubby. I love that man and am ready for some QT with him! We will have to make that happen soon.

OH! And we just had a hurricane pass through. It was the slowest hurricane I have ever experienced. We waited and waited, and I think it might have hit this morning. Or that could have been a thunderstorm....I don't know. The point is that we were not affected by it, but that is not the case in other parts of the state. My heart goes out to the families who will have to once again try to re-coop and re-build. This is a time for thanksgiving in my heart that we were not affected.

What a crazy and random blog post! Guess that is what happens when you go a week without blogging, but I am happy to keep you updated on life! Hope everyone enjoys each other this weekend and stay safe!

LOTS of change going on!

As I mentioned in my last post, I am now a stay at home mommy. I am so happy that I am getting to do this. I really am enjoying the quality time spent with my boys, and just being able to get things done around the house on a daily basis. This is a HUGE change for my family and mostly for me. I have been working since I was 16, and this is the first time I don't have a job to go to. So it has been very difficult for me to understand that my family is my number one, full time job. What a huge calling this is for women, and a tough one at that! I am learning so many different faults about myself, but I am tankful that these are being revealed to me and that the Holy Spirit is teaching me about the process of sanctification that we as Christians go through on a daily basis. I cannot thank the Lord enough for my husband and my two little boys, and now my opportunity to serve them on a full-time schedule.

Now, let me explain another change I am going through. During the pregnancy of my first born, Noah, I gained 80 pounds. Obviously this was not a good thing, but it happened. While in the process of trying to lose this weight, I became pregnant with our next child, Brayden. I did not lose all of my previous baby weight from Noah, and then gained some with Brayden. So the result was me gaining 2 precious boys and whole lot of unwanted pounds! I have begun to take nutritional supplements from Advocare due to our involvement as distributors, and this has given me a BOOST for my weight loss. Today I started a 6 week boot camp at CrossFit in Alexandria. The class is an hour long on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I am hoping to live until the end of it :) It is INTENSE, and a huge change for this out of shape body! I am excited though about the results I WILL get at the end of the 6 weeks. Pray for me!!!! :)

If you know me, you know that I don't do well with change. I'm kind of "set in my ways" as some would say, but I know that change is inevitable, and I do believe that these two changes are quite good ones! Reminds me of this verse: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13.

I will leave you with a few pics of some cuties :)

Thankful Thursday

My sister-in-law blogs very faithfully, and she is good at it! I am always excited to read her thankful Thursday blog. It is encouraging for me to read, and I am sure it's encouraging for others to read as well. So I am going to do my very first Thankful Thursday! Hope yall enjoy as much as I will!

* I am thankful that at this very moment I am looking at my youngest, Brayden, sitting on the floor, as happy as a lark, and playing with toys. I am thankful for this because it is 11:30 on a Thursday and I am at HOME watching this. :)

* I am thankful that my oldest, Noah, is a little sponge. I do love to teach, and he makes it so fun for me because he is such an eager learner!

* I am thankful that my hubby is a good listener, and that he brought me some beautiful flowers home yesterday. :)

* I am thankful for the Lord placing us in a community of believers at Gospel Community Church where we are encouraged, loved on, and challenged spiritually.

* I am thankful for grace. Without the Grace of God, I truly don't know what life would be like, because let me tell you, "life under the sun" is TOUGH! But the joy of my salvation trumps ALL!!

* I am thankful for what the Lord is teaching me now. I am so full of sin, but through the process of sanctification, I can repent of these sins, and then learn and grow from them.

* I thankful for the fresh bag of multi-grain chips that were in the pantry and the hummus that I enjoyed along with them. :)

There is so much more that I could write about, and I encourage each of you to focus on your blessings during times of trouble. We can ALL find something to be thankful for. The Lord is good...always. I hope this finds you well on this Thursday!

Can't really think of a good title...:)

Every time I decide to blog, I have to do two things. First, I have to figure out how to get to my blog. This means I have to remember a password, and this is never an easy task for me. So what do I do? Thats right, I change it...once more! This blog has had way too many passwords for so few posts....HA!
The second thing I have to do is see where life was when I wrote last, and I always have to chuckle to myself, and then take a trip (short trip due to few posts) down memory lane. Once again, life has changed immensely since the last post. Let me just update you now.

1- We have a added a new member to our family, and I must say it has been a sweeeeeet addition! His name is Brayden Samuel Chandler, and he has stolen his mommy's heart. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Noah Lee Chandler, but he is an all out daddy's boy. Brayden loooooves his mommy, and I don't mind one bit :) He was born on November 22, 2011, so that means he is now 8 months old!!!
And that is sweetness at its sweetest!

2- We now have a 2 year old in the Chandler household, and the good part is Cory and I still have our natural hair color! yay! No grey yet! If there ever were a strong-willed stubborn child, Noah is! (don't know where in the world he would get that from) :) What I do know is this, the Lord designs us all so very uniquely, and He designed Noah in this way, and it is BEAUTIFUL! We pray daily that the Lord will draw Noah closer to Him, and teach him how to be obedient to us. Our job is to show Noah that we are being obedient to our Heavenly father by disciplining him and teaching him His ways. We are currently going through "Shepherding a Child's Heart" by Ted Tripp. It's incredible, and so very much Biblically founded. We love that boy with everything in us, and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for him! He can now say is ABC's, and knows the sound recognition for each letter, as well as count to 15. Smart little booger!
This was taken about a month before he turned 2.

3- I have decided to become a stay at home mommy!! I am very excited about this!! The Lord recently, within the past year, began to change my desires of being a 6th grade ELA teacher to being a full time mommy. Teaching is my absolute passion, and I will very much miss the classroom, but at this time I am going to redirect my passion for teaching towards my own children. I am excited to teach them educationally, but more-so excited to raise them in a Godly manner.

4- Cory is still teaching at Grant high school, and will be returning next week. We have so enjoyed being able to both be stay at home parents this summer! I am sad that he has to go back. Our goal is to one day both be stay at home parents!!! I know you are thinking, "How in the world are they going to do that?" This is where I tell you about our newest endeavor. In March of this year, we made a decision to become independent distributors for Advocare. Advocare is a 19 year old nutritional supplements company that has absolutely blown us away! Not only has it allowed me to begin my weight loss journey, but it also gave me the financial freedom to be able to be a stay at home mommy. We are extremely excited for where this company is going to take us as a couple and family. If you are EVER interested about learning more about Advocare or purchase world class supplements, please let us know! Here is our website if you want to check it out.www.advocare.com/120321641
My goodness! That was a lot of typing! But once again my goal is to keep this updated. I enjoy reading other people's blogs, so maybe you will enjoy reading mine...I hope! Please leave comments so I know who is reading it :) Love yall!

Ready for Vacation!!!

It has been since our honeymoon that we have been on a vacation...and I am ready to get away with my hubby and little boy! We are going to Gulf Shores with some friends of ours, and I am hoping for a relaxing fun-filled week before we get back in the swing of school. Cory is at Mission-Fuge with his youth this week, and I am REALLY missing him, so it will make next week all the better to have him back with us!

I cannot believe how fast this summer has gone by! Lots to be thankful for from this summer...
1. half of my pregnancy with our our 2nd sweet son has taken place
2. moved into our house in Ball- which we LOVE
3. got to spend some good quality time with Noah- able to teach him, and he has learned so much! He is getting to be such a big boy!
4. Cory getting a teaching position for the fall at Grant high school.
The Lord is so faithful, and I love watching and being a part of this!

I'm going to try and upload a few pics to update yall....this is where I get frustrated with blogging because the pics never are where I want them or how I want them. Hope they turn out ok!

"Renew a right mind and spirit"

Hello blogger world! You have not seen or heard from me since 2010! Shocker...I know! I will not use the excuse that life has been too busy for me to blog, or that I don't have anything to blog about. I actually just forgot my password and never really felt like taking the time to change it. So, while Noah is taking his afternoon nap, I thought that I should go ahead and do this! So here we are!

Another reason for deciding to blog today is that I have a heavy, but joyful heart in this season of my life. I have struggled with so much here lately, and much of it has to do with a spiritually "dry season" in my life. I have been very much in a spiritual "drought", and couldn't seem to find my way into healthiness. Good news is that the Lord promises never to leave us or forsake us...I praise him for that! Over the past two weeks, I have begun to experience a drizzle from the Lord, and am preparing and hoping for his spirit to drown my heart, soul, and mind. The Lord has revealed to me just a tiny bit of my depravity as a sinful human...bitterness, anger, anxiousness, pride, and just all in all disobedience. Bottom line, I was a helpless, disgusting sinner, who deserved the wrath of God, but was saved by Christ, therefore is being made righteous in the sight of God. What HOPE and JOY is found in this!!!

My husband just recently preached his first "Sunday morning" sermon. He preached out of Romans 1-4, which is the heart of the Gospel. I was challenged to read these chapters after hearing Cory's sermon. Wow....humans are helpless, hopeless, and in a complete state of rebellion, sin, and depravity apart from God. I mean I am so VERY wrong and prideful if I think I have it all together on my own. I now understand that this is who I have been for the last few years, and this has been my mindset. I want to thank the Lord for revealing this to me through His word and His precious servant, my husband. Cory so clearly presented this to the church and it became crystal clear in my mind.

The awesomeness of it all is that even though this sinful person that I am deserves the punishment of eternal suffering in hell, I have been saved from it! God's son Jesus, took on all the wrath that I deserve because of my sinful nature. Does this even make sense to me? No is doesn't because I cannot comprehend the love of our father, and the grace that he so freely gives. This is a love that I want to run to. I want to learn about it and somehow learn to show it. We have always heard of "Christ-like love". This is what it is, and I want to soak it up.

So I am thankful for this process of the Lord renewing a right mind and spirit within me. I so desperately have needed this for a long time. I am thankful for this clear understanding of ultimate sacrifice, love, and grace. I am so thankful that the Lord has chosen me as his daughter.

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the Glory of God." Romans 5: 1-2

Fall means Football and Fun!

The months of October and November are probably two of my favorite months, and this year they have been extra special because of sharing them with my two favorite boys! The weeks are so busy for us, so we very much enjoy spending the weekends with each other and family.

Saturdays are obviously devoted to football, and thankfully, Noah enjoys a lil football too! But in the midst of watching our Tigers play, we have managed to throw in some other fun things too. We love going over to my parents house on the weekends to grill out and chill out! They don't mind it either. :) One Friday night, we sat outside on their back deck around the chiminea, eating gumbo that mom cooked. After eating gumbo, we made S'mores! Cory and I found these marsh-mellows at Wal-Mart called campfire Marsh-melllows and they are HUGE!!! I'll post a picture of one. So needless to say, they were some heavy duty S'mores!

The weekend of Halloween, we took Noah to the pumpkin patch to take some pictures of him. We didn't dress him up this year...maybe next year. We did buy him a shirt that said BOO on it. It was a lot cheaper than a costume :) The pictures we got of him were cute, although he kind of freezes when I really want some good pictures of him. Good thing he's cute all the time!!

Cory and I were fortunate enough for both of his parents to come see us! His dad came in October and his mom came this month, November. We had a great time with them, and so did Noah! We can't wait to see them at Christmas time!

Also this month, Lee and his wife and kids were able to come down, and we got to visit with them a lil bit. Just enough time to get some super cute pictures of the three cousins! They were too cute, and I can't wait to watch them grow up together!

It has been a great two months, and I am ready to celebrate the holidays with family! God has blessed me with and incredible family, and I am truly thankful for that!

The Past Year in a Nutshell...

After talking to my Sister-in-Law, Lindsey, I have finally committed to this blog...I hope! It just got a little overwhelming since I haven't really posted anything since January of 2009! I mean how do you re-cap 2 years of life! So this post is for trying to do that. These past two years have been two great years in my life that really can't be put into words, but I will sure try and describe them for you.

Well in the last post I wrote, which really wasn't 2 years ago, I talked about the fact that I got married in May of 2009 to Cory Chandler (hence the last name no longer being Morrow). I have thoroughly enjoyed being his wife for the past year and a half. He is an incredible husband who should get an award for putting up with me and my stubbornness :) The Lord sure knew what he was doing when he brought him to me all the way from North Carolina, and I cannot imagine life without him.

Since we have been married, Cory has been the Head Advisor of English Village at Louisiana College. That is a guy's dorm, so yes I have been surrounded by about 75 guys in our 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. But I am not complaining, because the Lord provided for us a great place to live. Cory is also the youth minister at FBC Lecompte. It has been neat to serve at a place where my father and mother were when I was a tiny little baby. I am still teaching. I am going on my 4th year now at South Grant Elementary. 6th grade is what I teach and I love it. I have the greatest co-workers and students that make my job easy.

As I am typing this, I am watching my six month old try to crawl...yep that's right, we have a 6 month old! On May 25, 2010, Noah Lee Chandler was born into our family! All 9 lbs. 7 oz. and 23 in. of him! (I was a BIG MAMA!!) Needless to say, it was a great 1 year anniversary present for Cory and me! :) He has blessed our cotton socks off, as my mother would say. I honestly did not know it was possible to love this much. Cory and I have very much enjoyed having a son, and he has made it easy for us for sure!

So that's pretty much it! the highlights of the past two years.Thank you Lord for the sweet blessing in my life! Now the next post will be a lil more recent and up to date...I promise!

Hope you enjoy some of the pictures from over the past two years! (They aren't in order...couldn't figure out how to fix that.)

LOTS of catching up to do!

As you can probably see from my last post, it has been a while since I have even looked at this blog. So I decided it was time to do a little refreshing and catch everybody up since the last post. With a little help from my friend KB, we give the blog a slight face-lift, and I had to make some pretty important changes. Instead of this being just Amy Sue's blog, it is now the Chandler's blog. Pretty big change, but it had to be done because yep....I'm now married to the wonderful Cory Lee Chandler! This is a good change that I didn't mind making on the blog page. Next to my slavation, he is the best and most important change that has happened in my life thus far. Words cannot explain the love I have for him, and I very much enjoy living life with him! But I will get into all that in another post. My plan is to, post by post, update you on what had happend in my life in the past year and a half. Gosh I have lots to write, but at the time, I have lots of time on my hands (you will find out why in a soon to come post) :) This truly is my best effort of keeping friends and family updated on the life of the Chndlers, so I hope yall enjoy!!

JUST A BIG FAT YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been a while updating this blog...but life ahs been crazy and interesting since the last time I did this blog thing :) I'm pretty much getting MARRIED!!!! Yep...I was asked by Cory Lee Chandler to be his wife on Decemeber 25, 2008! And here is how he did it....

SO, as you all know, Cory is from North Carolina. He decieded that he was going to spend Christmas with his family this year because he ahrdly ever gets to see them. I completely understood, but I was a lil (ok maybe alot) sad that I wouldn't be able to sepnd our first Christmas together. So he left on the 19th of Decemeber and I cried but I knew that I would be seeing him on the 29th beacuse I was flying out there to be with him and his family after Christmas. Until then I enjoyed the holidays with just me and the fam, which was nice.

Well, Christmas day came and I woke up with a sweet phone call from Cory wishing me a Merry Christmas, and of course I cried, but mom and dad were great with making me feel better. Lee and Lindsey were coming in that day, so that made me happy too! It ended up being a great day with lots of food, and then my favorite part...the presents! We never open presents at night, but this year we did. The anticipation just killed me all day! I love opening presents! Lee seemed excited about it too! LOL

So we sit down, and Lee started to hand out the presents to each person (he was Santa this year) He brought the first present to me. It was a red bag, and Lee told me it was from Cory. He said he wanted me to have something since he wasn't here. When I opened it, there was a DVD in it and a card. Lee said "Let's put it in!" So we did, and immediately I start crying. It was a DVD with pictures of us from all throughout the year. And in the background was my favorite song, "Pour My Love on You" by Phillips, Craig, and Dean. I thought it was increidbly sweet and was BALLING my eyes out! I was thinking that GOSh he did such a good job!

Then....at the end of it a blank slide came up, and the doorbell rang....the next slide said I believe that's for you. So, very confused...I sit there and then get up to check the back door. Nobody was there...so I sat down and looked at my family. They weren't saying a thing. The dorbell rang about three more times and so I checked the front door. When I got the the door, I saw the side of CORY!!!!! I was so excited that he had surprised me for Christmas! ...and THEN oh my goodness when I opened the door he got down on one knee.....and ASKED.....WILL YOU MARRY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I freaked out.....and all I wanted was to hug him! Finally I said YES!!!! And finally looked at the ring! GOURGEOUS!!!!!!!!! The family then all came outside with the cameras, and we were all freaking out! It was truly the best night of my life!!! GOOD JOB CORY!!
